Impact Stories

My name is Shyam and I am from Chikkaballapura. I did my schooling and livelihood in Chikkaballapura. I was addicted to alcohol. I started drinking with my friends just for fun and as days go on I became addicted to drinking. I never know this is a progressive disorder. Recently I struggled a lot due to this drinking addiction. I got admitted on 19th March 2022 at Sri Sai Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts. I was here for 3 months for treatment and they counselled me on how to stop drinking and also conducted various activities and teaching and finally I came out of addiction. Now I am living an addiction-free life and decided to work among people who are addicted to different drugs and see that there life also changed just like me.

Shyam, Chikkaballapur.
